Two kinds of child schemas can be defined for a schema.

The first kind of child schemas builds an inheritance structure in the schema management.

With the second kind, schemas are defined for the building of a structure in the data repository. Further data objects can be created underneath a data object in onion.net. It is now regulated in this property what schema the data objects created underneath a data object of the current schema may follow.
